ATM started music as a young teenager, singing with friends at school and on the streets just for fun. He decided to take music professionally as a career in 2010 after his worth in music has been discovered and proved in many shows he attended during his time in the polytechnic and other places on the streets of Lagos with his style of music which really set him different from every other artistes in the country.
He is a young, aspiring and very energetic artist who gets his lyrics from the streets and what happens in life generally. He made two great singles; KEEPONWE and MY BRODA’S WIFE (both produced by DTUNES) songs which disturbed many states in 2011/2012. Both songs had special and distinguished lyrics from most songs heard, across Africa.

Back then in his days in school, he started professionally with two of his friend as a group from which the name ATM was derived, Ayomide -A Who is now staged name Mide. Mattew aka (Matinga) is the M, Taiwo happens to be the T inbetween, they were very influential and popular in and outside the campus of which no show will hold without the presence of this talented crew. As faith would have it, they separated and none of a member of this bunch of talented crew was ready to disclose to people why they choose to separate. Taiwo Ogungbe's passion for his career and the name ATM which he vowed will never go down the drain just like that, made him stand to his feet with the same stage name which is now making waves gradually in the music industry.
ATM is presently carving nitche for himself with his latest new hit-threatening single titled “CONFAM” produced by a young fast rising producer “CHYKEYS”
