How To

I freaking love this look, and I am so willing to share a written tutorial on how to create this look and a short review on some of the products I used.

Step 1; the first thing you must do
is to use a face mosturizer,I believe this helps prevent damages caused by products depending on the type of moisturizer you use. I use clean and clear oil control face mosturizer everyday and it helps reduces excess oil which eventually results to acne so you can try it out,I hope this helps you if you av the same oily skin as mine.

Step 2; once your skin absorbs d mosturizer, apply a face primer, I am a No7 fan, I just love its matte, then you can go ahead with your brow drama, ensure you set your brow well, I used mabrook pencil for this look along with ardell brow definer, I used LA pro concealer for the highlight.

Step 3; apply an eyeshadow primer, Mary Kay eye primer is what I used, ensure you blend in the eye primer and allow it dry before you start working your eyeshadow in

Step 4; I used a bh cosmetics pallete of the 3rd edition, I started by using a fluffy blending brush to apply a tinted orangy colour to my outer crease and a little above the crease area, and i blend in and out softly as my transition colour, ensure this is not too bright when you are doing it, I then begin to apply a pink shimmery eyeshadow with a flat eyeshadow brush on my actual lid starting from the inner corner of my eyelid down until I'm almost at d end part which is the 1/4 of my eyelid, also ensure this is well blended as you do not want harsh lines on your face, it's makes makeup look very unprofessional, I used a pencil brush to apply a shade of brown eyeshadow to the remaining part of my actual lid, with a C drawing instead of the usual <, then I used another blending brush to blend this swiftly above my crease again, what I'm trying to do here is creating the shadow of the actual or precise colour that will be there. After this blend I took the same pencil brush and applied a deep chocolate brown into my outer crease, the same C and then I blend the edges to avoid harsh lines, I was as precise as I can be in applying the dark cholate brown and aswell avoided lines.
I took a clean blending brush and fluffed very little purple on my transit area and then I settled for the glitters.

Glitter eyeshadow is one thing I love and aswell scared of, you have to be very careful when it comes to glitters else it disrupt the look and this doesn't give anything close to a nice result. Ensure you use a very good glitter glue, I went for a Ben nyle glitter glue, along with a pink glitters from Ben nyle, I gently applied my glitter glue with my eye closed and the other open to help see as I apply, funny, I know, I used enough glue because I wanted a full coverage of glitters all over my 1/4 actual lid, remember it all must end at d crease, any glitter above the crease is foul play, a brush with a firm bristle is needed to apply the glitters, then I gently and firmly firm my glitters to avoid falls, took my pencil brush to deepen my contour colour which is the dark chocolate brown and then blend again gently.
I used a black liner for my waterline area of my lower lid and set it with a matte brown eyeshadow.
Blending can be tiring but it's just the secret of a flawless makeup.

Step 5; now that your eyeshadow is set, fix your fake strip lashes and gently line your strip lid ensure this isn't obvious, lining of your strip lid can be achieved with a tiny lining brush, you place it close to your real lashes as though you want to line your lashes.its like you are not actually lining your lid, it gives this eye darkening effect and pops out the eyeballs.

Step 6; apply your concealer and foundation. I do not have much to cover so I just did my foundation and used concealer for my highlights. I love marykay foundation, it's coverage is superb, I used it all over my face and then used a black opal concealer that is two times tone brighter than my skin colour to highlight my under eye, nose, forehead and off cause all other necessary parts, I did set my highlight with Ben nyle banana luxury powder, before I set my foundation with powder, I contoured my face, cheeks, nose, jaw, forehead with sleek contour pallete,I used Milani mineral powder to set it all together, I call this method grouping. This doesn't mean you can't achieve this look with other methods and products.

Step 7; I went ahead to apply a very subtle blush, I honestly can't remember the name of the blush I used, lol, but it's a natural pink blush, I gave light to my face with Milani baked bronzer.

Step 8; finally oooooops I'm begining to get tired of typing, now my lip, after priming my lip with an all day lip balm, I lined my lip first with a brown pencil, followed by a pink pencil and finally a purple pencil right ontop of each other, I blended it out with a lip brush and then used a powdered pink lip colour I trapped from my mabrook lip colour pallete, I brightened my lip with Tara eyeshadow white base just to give it a radiant effect, and hoooooollllllaaaaaa we are done.

I hope you will have fun recreating this look and I hope this is explanatory enough. Love ya all *wink*
